The Model 2345 is an SNMP managed
multi-featured fiber optic modem that optically extends standard T3
(44.736Mbps) signals over single mode or multimode fiber optic cable. It is
designed to enable carriers, government, and private enterprise to expand the
capabilities of their existing data communications infrastructure. |

2346 DS3 Modem
DS3 E3 T3 fiber modem
The 2346 T3 modem provides
cost effective, small footprint, reliable optical extension of T3/DS3 (44.736
Mbps) signals on single mode or multimode fiber. It is ideal for extending
PBX’s, routers, DS3 multiplexers, and ATM switches.
The 2346 retimes and reshapes the DS3 signal allowing it
to provide the clean and stable signal needed for longest possible extension
distances. Up to 100 km extension is possible over a pair of single mode fiber
and up 40km over single strand of single mode fiber. A Multimode version is
also available for shorter extensions.

DS3 E3 T3 fiber modem
The TC1680 T3/E3 Fiber Optic Modem
provides a high speed point-to-point data link between two DS3 or G.703
conforming devices. User benefits include easy installation and
troubleshooting, high reliability, low power consumption (less than 5 Watts),
virtually no jitter (because the signal is re-timed at the remote end), and
overall small size (1.4" X 7.1" X 9.8").
The TC1680 transmits standard T3
(44.736M) or E3 (34.368M) signals at distances up to 100km. It is compatible
with B3ZS (T3) and HDB3 (E3) coded data streams and conforms to applicable
standards including ANSI T1.102-1993, TR-TSY-000499 and CCITT G.703.
